Mercenary Tasks

Golems Amok - Haeger Stonecracker - help
- Simple kill task. You'll find the golems in the southern caves, the gold seem rarest and spawn deeper in.
A Clean Mine is a Safe Mine - Haeger Stonecracker - over
- Kill 20 burnynai in the eastern mines. Throughout the area are a discarded ore box which contain Sack of Excess Underquarry Ore, you'll need 10 and they can be prelooted. Have all 10 before turning any in or it can bug out.
Cliknar Attrition - Haeger Stonecracker - destroy
- Straightforward kill task for various cliknar in the southeast caves.
The Lone Adventurer - a lone adventurer - revenge
- Straightforward kill task for various burynai in the east caves.
The Box of Abu-Kar - a lone adventurer - eliminate
- Straightforward kill task for various "underquarry xyz" in the northwest and southwest chambers. While the premise is you are looking for a box, it doesn't exist and is just an excuse to kill them.

Partisan Tasks

Mercurial Metal - Peramin Longbottle - reason
1. Hail Goralf the Genati and learn about Mercuralite
2. Kill Goralf the Genati (if you can)
3. Kill Goralf's Clockwork Erko
4. Kill Goralf's Clockwork Kedo
5. Kill Angry Goralf
  - Goralf is on the west side of the southwest chamber by himself around (marked G). When you hail him he attacks along with two clockworks, Erko and Kedo. Goralf hits for about 4500 and the clockworks about 3500. Pull them away from the spawn point and "kill" Goralf first, at low health he respawns as Angry Goralf. If you are far enough back, the angry version won't agro. Kill both clockworks (which have a Large amount of hp) and then Angry Goralf and everything updates.
6. Recover the Mercuralite you were sent to find
7. Deliver 3 samples of Mercuralite to Peramin
8. Speak with Peramin about your reward
  - Loot a bottle from each clockwork and off Goralf and return them to Peramin to complete the task.
Unrest in the Metal Mines - Clontik Beardburner - restored
1. Investigate the rebel presence in the Underquarry Copper Mine
2. Kill the rebellious Burynai leader, Lord Ragarrh
  - The copper mines (update at Cu) are due east, you'll find Lord Ragarrh (marked B) in the southeastern chamber.
3. Go to the Silver Mine and locate the rebel leader there
4. Destroy the cliknar leader, known as the 'Protauris'
  - The silver mines (update at Ag) are east of the southern chamber, you'll find Protauris (marked C) in the westmost large chamber.
5. Explore the Underquarry Gold Mine and learn which golem is leading the insurrection there
6. Eliminate the rebellious golem known as Keolyx
  - The gold mines (update at Au) are south of the southern chamber, you'll find Keolyx (marked G) as far east as you can go.
7. Report back to Clontik and tell him the rebel leaders have been dealt with
  - complete the task.
Chaos in the Stonequarry - Clontik Beardburner - eliminate
1. Explore Southern Stonequarry
2. Kill 5 Stonequarry Engineer
3. Kill 5 Stonequarry Foreman
4. Speak with Clontik
  - Very straughtforward task, go to the southern chamber (updates at S) and kill the engineers are foremen. The assist range is kinda large but otherwise a trivial matter. Hail Clontik to complete the task.
An Alternative Explanation - Clontik Beardburner - deeper
1. Requires "Unrest in the Metal Mines" and "Chaos in the Stonequarry"
2. Look for Reggund Tilecracker in the northern stonequarry room, deep in the Underquarry
3. Reggund Tilecracker supposedly has a different approach to the situation in the Underquarry
4. Hear more of Reggund's ideas
5. Memorize the details of Reggund's plan for the Clontik's benefit
  - Head to the northern chamber via the room with Goralf, invis to the north wall to find Reggund Tilecracker. Hail him three times for updates (can stay invis).
6. A Golemite Sagecrystal of Emergent Awareness may be of use to Clontik
7. Go and find a vial of Cliknar command jelly... The Cliknar commander might be an obvious source
8. Collect several Archtone wheelstick message devices from the Burynai
  - You now need to loot a specific drop from each of the three main regions: Golemite Sagecrystal of Emergent Awareness from iron golems, Vial of Protaurian Command-Flavor Hivejelly from cliknar sergeants, and Archtone Wheelstick from burynai plotters and mineblades. All items have about a 50% drop rate and can sorta be prelooted (if you have one, try handing to any NPC then cancel trade for update).
9. Deliver the Golemite Sagecrystal of Emergent Awareness to Clontik
10. Deliver the vial of Cliknar command jelly to Clontik
11. Deliver the Archtone wheelstick message device to Clontik
12. Speak with Clontik Beardburner
  - Give Clontik all three items and hail to complete the task.
Overheated Production - Clontik Beardburner - agreement
1. Requires "Unrest in the Metal Mines", "Chaos in the Stonequarry", and "An Alternative Explanation"
2. Hail Kronidar Stoutaxe
3. Kill 10 rebel burynai
4. Collect 5 undertone wheelsticks
5. Collect 5 golemite sagecrystals of iterave progress
6. Deliver undertone wheelsticks to Kronidar
7. Deliver sagecrystals of iterative progress to Kronidar
8. Collect a wooden pickaxe slat

  - The first half of the task involves Kronidar Stoutaxe on the north side of the main chamber. After hailing move east and kill at least 10 buryani and loot 5 Undertone Wheelstick. These drop about 60% of the time from tricksters, tunnelblades, and caveblades.
  - Then head to the southern caves and kill silver and bronze golems for 5 Golemite Sagecrystal of Iterative Progress, also about a 60% drop rate.
  - Turn in all the drops and look for a wood box spread about the stonequarry rooms, these contain the Wooden Pickaxe Rack Slat and you need 4. Give them to Kronidar to complete the first half of the task.
11. Hail Drenkar Darkhammer

15. Deliver genati ore-stash maps to Drenkar
16. Deliver genati satchels to Drenkar
17. Collect stonesaw pegs for Drenkar

  - The second half of the task involves Drenkar Darkhammer in the stonequarry chamber. After hailing Drenkar start killing surly genati in the area until you get 3 Genati Ore Satchel and Genati Ore-Stash Maps, about 65% drop rate.
  - Turn in the drops then look for a parts box around the stonequarry area, these contain the Stonesaw Peg and you need 4. Give them to Drenkar to complete the second half of the task.
20. Hail Clontik Beardrunner
  - After handling both halves just hail Clontik to complete the task.
