- Simple kill task, 5 regular, 2 fire, and 1 large emerald beetles, they spawn on the northwest and southwest corners of the zone.

8. Find Olgar Grubcap's heartseed before the Shrivstem scouts do

  - Return to Excrug and he requests you recover the heartseed from the bodies of Olgar and Spornus, marked on the map as OG and SC. Each body is guarded by a 'a Shrivstem scout', kill it and loot the Fresh Sporali Heartseed. Give the seeds to Excrug and hail to complete the task.
Salvation of Spores* - Deagus the Fungrotect - do
1. This is a shared task and requires "Gathering of Essentials", "Fate of the Telmira", and "Seeds for the Waterstalkers" to request.
2. Negotiate with Rakkirin for the release of Vaelani
3. Speak with Deagus the Fungrotect before helping Rakkirin
  - Start out by using invis to hail Rakkirin in his camp to the southeast and then back to Deagus.
4. Collect some Xanthiune Spores from motile and vigorous earths
5. Collect some Primnitane Spores from motile and vigorous mosses
6. Collect some Potent Vitamolid Spores from motile and vigorous spore slimes
  - The spores drop very commonly from the listed ooze mobs which spawn throughout the central part of the zone.
7. Bring the vitamolid spores to Deagus the Fungrotect
8. Speak with Deagus the Fungrotect
  - Return to Deagus and give him just the two vitamolid and he gives you back two treated versions instead.
9. Deliver the Xanthiune Spores to Rakkirin Shrivstem
10. Deliver the Primnitane Spores to Rakkirin Shrivstem
11. Deliver the Treated Potent Vitamolid Spores to Rakkirin Shrivstem
12. Speak to Rakkirin Shrivstem
13. Return the bottle with Vaelani's essence to Deagus the Fungrotect
  - Back to the southeast area to Rakkirin. Give him everything and when you hail he should give you back Bottled Essence of Princess Vaelani. Give this to Deagus to complete the task.

  - After getting the task a fire will appear just northeast of him. When you reach it another spawns south so start running south to the river. After crossing bear southwest around the hills until the dangerous creature spawns. Its 'a wandering greken'', hits for around 10k and casts Greken Breath, a 12k frontal AE.
11. Return to Giltredle
  - Return to Giltredle and hail to complete the task.
