Morell's Castle

Overview

Morell's Castle is a fairly large zone with a good bit of variety and one way portals. The portal in the water maze goes to the ship, the wheel of the ship goes to the sand castle, and the castle takes you back out to House of Thule upper. The zone to Sanctum Somnium is pretty close to the zone in. There are 25 rare mobs scattered about the zone, in addition to those there are three zonewide rare drops:

Kill 7 of the sandmen looting 5 of the pristine sand, drops almost every kill. Give the sand to Alisia to complete the task.

Candy Caper

Kill 10 candy hoarders looting 4 of the Candy Assortment, drops around 75%. Give the assortments to Sluggurth to complete the task.

Clearing the Waterways

Kill a dozen assorted Shellsaces found in the water then return to Havrin to complete the task.

Controlling the Population

Satyrical Riddles

Start by getting three ring drops, one from enchanted mares, one from dream drakes, and one from shellscale occultists. The rings drop almost every kill and can be prelooted. Once you have all three run around the village hailing satyrs for updates, then hand in the rings: Mare, Shilliskin, Drake. The hail Griklund to complete the task.

Gouzah Safari
Quest giver: Gurroth Aberrine

This is an instanced group task, but not considered a "mission" as it doesn't give loot. Say "go" to zone into the instance.

Once inside start by killing 3 speckled and 3 rabbits, looting the carcasses from each. Give them all to Gurroth and Snibbles and other Gouzahs spawn. Hail Snibbles and it and 8 gouzahs attack. If you drop agro they can be split up. The sorcels have a short range AE dd, dot, and mana drain, the shades have a big AE mez, stun, and mana drain, the chaos have a single target 30k dd, and the grizzly proc a FD stun. After Snibbles and six of the gouzahs are dead Smart Gouzah spawns. When you hail it the task locks and it attacks. It hits for around 10k and drops a teleportation gem. Give the gem to Gurroth and say "return" to zone out. In the static zone hail him to complete the task.

Pirate's Blues

Start by locating Gaitius Cloden on the ship (drop a campfire here if you can). Go to the bow of the ship and click the wheel to be ported to the beach area, kill 3 "a mutinous scallywag"s, and loot their heads. You'll need to give these to Gaitus, so either campfire or go into the sandcastle to port back to the zone in and travel back through the forest and tower and water to the ship. Next is Maiana the Chanteuse, hits just under 10k but no spells. Loot the Adamantine Tube and give it to Gaitus. Then return to Nollibene to complete the task.

If Gaitius is KoS when attempting this it means someone failed another task, you'll need to kill him to force a respawn in non-KoS mode.

A Few Buckets of Sand
Quest giver: Zinahra the Haunted

Zinahra sees invis/sos allowing you to get the task without agro'ing the kos sirens all around. After getting the task head to the forest area and hail the "distracting daydream", "vivid daydream", and "idle daydream". Back to the beach to find a sandman timekeeper, hail it, then kill it and at least two other sandmen. You'll need to loot a Rod of the Sandmen, drops about half of the time, and 3 Bucket of Timekeeping Sand, drops nearly every time. Head back to Zinahra, give her everything, then hail to complete the task.

Suspiciously Sweet Treats
Quest giver: Zairia
Requirement: none
Phrase: ingredients
Reward: 20 Dream Motes, 158p, +10 Dream Delvers faction

Your first goal for the task is to collect 4 Hedgeberries from treants (90% drop), 2 Speckled Rabbit Meat from bunnies (50% drop), and a Dream Fragment from daydreams (100% drop). Give all of this to Zairia then head north and wait under the painting with the water flowing out of it until you get both updates, at which point a shilliskin will spawn. Defeat it ot blur it and give the water to Zaira. She gives you a Hedgeberry Pie, go find the a hungry halfling, target it and right click the pie (doesn't break invis). The halfling will path into the oven and combust. Pick up the charred halfling remains, give them to Zairia, then hail her to complete the task.

The task might also reward a Halfling Soul, this is used in a quest in Rain of Fear.

The Staff Retreat

For this task go back and hail the task givers for each of the other 5 tasks. All will give you the item, except Gaitus, he instead becomes KoS. (if doing for multiple people, you'll need to have one person hail each time). Kill him, loot the tube, then give all 5 items to Twereus to complete the task and get your Staff.
