The Search for Coral
Quest giver: Widdlethorpe Gemfinder
Location: Stoneroot Falls
Requirements: None.
- Find an entrance to Korlach's lair (Stoneroot Falls)
- Search for the priests that hold the power of control
- Weaken the priests by removing their guards
- Overcome the power of the priests by ending their ceremony
- Gather the samples of the coral from the chest
- Return to Widdlethorpe with the sample at once
Head into the instance via Stoneroot Falls. This zone is a mixture of living (witheran and orcs) and undead (shilliskin) and traps. None of the trash respawn though. Make your way to the northwest chamber to find High Priest Trelikin and a number of undead guards. First kill off the six guards (max hit around 1k) and the High Priest and his two protectors will be targetable. Kill the protectors (can be split) and then start on Trelikin. At 75% he will give an emote, a room shake, and spawn 4 adds. The adds and Trelikin are all mezzable. Lock it down, kill the adds, then dps to 50% to get 4 more adds. Repeat to 25% for a third set of adds and finally kill him. The adds do not despawn so you'll need to kill them eventually. Once everything is dead open the chest containing your mission loot as well as Enchanted Corathus Coral. Give this to Widdlethorpe to complete your mission. Widdlethorpe will also give you Magical Corathus Coral which is used in the next mission, Learning the Power. Don't worry if you lose it though, you are given one when requesting the mission.
