Quested Armor
Quested armor for group gear is obtained through tasks given by Tenish in Crescent Reach. The tasks can be picked up at any time, but everything can be prelooted so no need to do so until you are ready. For the first step you need an "Ancient xyz Pattern/Mold", such as "Ancient Chain Boot Mold" or "Ancient Leather Skullcap Pattern". Additionally you will need 1-4 Ash Covered or Frosted pieces depending on slot and armor type.

After completing the first task for the base armor piece you'll be offered a second task to upgrade it, giving heroics and focus. This requires you to turn in your armor piece and a Powersource based on your class type.

Mobs which drop the molds/patterns for the group armor drop all four types (plate, chain, leather, or cloth):
- Chest - Only dropped by Tarnuk Farwalker in Icefall Glacier.
- Legs - Only dropped by Son of Severan in Direwind Cliffs.
- Arms - Dropped by Chef Gudez and Midnight in The Steppes and Grock Mist Seer in Icefall Glacier.
- Head - Dropped by Sulfurog in Sunderock Springs and Deathshed in Direwind Cliffs.
- Feet - Dropped by Hesmire Farflight in The Steppes and Taruskor in Icefall Glacier.
- Hands - Dropped by Whitewater in Sunderock Springs and Psilocide Direwind Cliffs.
- Wrist - Dropped by Darkmist in Sunderock Springs and Vinelord Molder Direwind Cliffs.
In addition to the mold you will need a number of pieces depending on class type and slot:
- Plate - Ash Covered Scrap Metal and Frosted Scrap Metal
- Chain - Ash Covered Chain Link and Frosted Chain Link
- Leather - Ash Covered Hide and Frosted Hide
- Silk - Ash Covered Swatch and Frosted Swatch
- Chest - 4 Frosted
- Legs - 4 Ash Covered
- Arms - 3 Frosted
- Head - 3 Ash Covered

The main component for each piece of gear drops from bosses in Ashengate and Frostrcypt. The chests and legs drop randomlly from Lethar and Beltron while the other slots drop randomly from all other bosses in all five instances.
