Quested Armor

Quested armor for group gear is obtained through tasks given by Tenish in Crescent Reach. The tasks can be picked up at any time, but everything can be prelooted so no need to do so until you are ready. For the first step you need an "Ancient xyz Pattern/Mold", such as "Ancient Chain Boot Mold" or "Ancient Leather Skullcap Pattern". Additionally you will need 1-4 Ash Covered or Frosted pieces depending on slot and armor type.

After completing the first task for the base armor piece you'll be offered a second task to upgrade it, giving heroics and focus. This requires you to turn in your armor piece and a Powersource based on your class type.

Mobs which drop the molds/patterns for the group armor drop all four types (plate, chain, leather, or cloth):

In addition to the mold you will need a number of pieces depending on class type and slot:

Ash Covered components are random drops from Sunderock Springs and Direwind Cliffs while the Frosted components are from The Steppes and Icefall Glacier.

For the second step you will need to obtain a Powersource based on your class type:

All rare mobs in Valdeholm and Vergalid Mines can drop any of the four powersources. The Powersources are No Drop, but aren't lore and can be prelooted.

Quested armor for raid gear is obtained through tasks given by Terraxs in Crescent Reach. For the first step you need an "Timeworn xyz Mold" which are dropped from raids in Ashengate and Frostcrypt. Additionally you will need 1-4 Power Infused xyz depending on class type and slot.

After completing the first task for the base armor piece you'll be offered a second task to upgrade it, giving heroics and focus. This requires you to turn in your armor piece and a Large Powersource based on your class type.

The main component for each piece of gear drops from bosses in Ashengate and Frostrcypt. The chests and legs drop randomlly from Lethar and Beltron while the other slots drop randomly from all other bosses in all five instances.

In addition to the mold you will need a number of pieces depending on class type and slot:

Power Infused components are random drops from trash in Ashengate and Frostcrypt raid instances. They are tradable and not lore so a guild can easily bank them to hand out as needed.

For the second step you will need to obtain a Large Powersource based on your class type:

All rare mobs in Ashengate and Frostcrypt can drop any of the four large powersources. The Large Powersources are No Drop, but aren't lore and can be prelooted.
