Click into the Skylance instance and once inside tell Arkahn "library" and his familiar will lead you to the proper portal. Don't enter the portal until everybody is ready as you will agro 0-4 "a scrykin historian" as soon as you enter. Kill any that agro (they will respawn) and then talk to Student Joban at the center of the bottom.

On the right side is Assistant Gareth, rooted in place and spawns multiple "a possessed book" during the fight. Likewise on the left side is Assistant Venorin, rooted in place and spawns multiple "a Skylance bookworm" during the fight. The adds do not despawn so kill the named as fast as possible and then cleap up adds. Loot a token half from each.

Give both halves to Head Librarian Magus and he gives you The Codex Artifice. Deliver this to Spirit of Ao the Fourth Born back in Arcstone and a chest spawns containing one of the following:

• Clasp of the Fledgling Scrykin
• Mantle of the Spirit Warrior
• Spirit Claw

Randomly mobs in the instance can drop one of the following:

• Eye of Ice
• Vial of the Escaped Genie
