Riftseekers' Sanctum

Overview

Riftseekers' Sanctum is the final group zone of the expansion. The zone requires level 69 to zone in and all the loot is no drop. In addition to the rares there are 3 zonewide rare drops:

There are a few raids here including the Royals and the mini-raid targets Feratha and Challiak. There is only one zone out, back to the Proving Grounds.

Quests

Anquish Signets

Quest giver: Taromani
Faction required: none
Reward: Required for Anquish access

Hail Taromani and follow her dialog (ending with "I will assist with the favors") and she will give you Taromani's Insignia Case and ask that you collect signet rings from 7 prominent dragorns:

The dragorns in the instances always spawn, drop 6 signets each, and don't respawn. The dragorn in static zones are random rare spawns with one drop per kill. Once you have all 7 combine them in the case to create Full Insignia Case. Give this to Taromani to receive your character flag.

Raids

Chailak

Chailak is a mini-raid target on the fire side. It hits for up to 2600 and has 3 spells:

Pretty much just clear room trash, keep group heals going, kill him before he kills you, and use poison cures for the venom when it is dead. It has a 24 hour respawn, drops 2 spell runes and 1 of the following:




Feratha

Feratha is a mini-raid target on the ice side. It hits for up to 2800, but rumor is the more on hate list the higher the max hit. It has 2 spells:

Queen Pyrilonis

The event starts with the Queen being untargetable flanked by 6 princesses, half active half not. When you agro the princesses they will each summon a few chimera. The chimera are basically just zone trash and can be mezzed. The princesses hit quite hard (I hear over 3k) and have two spells:

While engaged the portals in the room will randomly spawn fire elementals. These will home in on a target and when they reach them cast Pyrilonis` Vengeance, a 50 range 5k AE. The elementals can be killed, snared, or just deal with the AE. Once the first three princesses are down the other three activate, summon their chimera, and you do the same thing. Once all six are defeated the Queen activates. She appears to be a straight up fight, hitting for up to 5k while fire elemental bombs continue to spawn. If you wipe or leash after the first 3 princesses, they should stay dead. Likewise if you wipe or leash on Queen all 6 princesses should stay dead.

It has a 3 day respawn and drops 2 spell runes and 2 of the following:




King Gelaqua

The event starts with the King being untargetable flanked by 6 princes, half active half not. When you agro the princes they will each summon a few feratha. The feratha are basically just zone trash and can be mezzed. The princes hit over 3k and proc Heart of Frost, a 300 cold resist debuff. While engaged the portals in the room will randomly spawn water elementals. These will home in on a target and when they reach them cast split into 4 crystals which each cast Aura of Falmont, a 2k dd and 1k mana drain AE. The elementals can be killed, snared, but the AE drains too much mana to just let it go off every time. Once the first three princes are down the other three activate, summon their feratha, and you repeat the process. Once all six are defeated the King activates. He hits for up to 5.5 k while the water elementals continue to spawn. If you wipe or leash after the first 3 princes, they should stay dead. Likewise if you wipe or leash on King all 6 princes should stay dead.
