Nobles' Causeway

Overview

Nobles' Causeway is the first zone to see quest armor droppers. The gear comes in two flavors, Recommended 58 and Recommended 63. The rares that drop the 63 can also drop the quest armor pieces, but no legs or chest. In addition to the rares there are 3 zonewide random drops:

There are a number of lower level raids in the zone with gear ranging from 90 hp up to 130 hp. Exit to south leads back to Dranik's Scar and the north goes to the Wall of Slaughter.

Quests

Murkglider Fluid

Quest giver: Gorvoroth
Faction required: none
Reward: +1 faction with Dranik Loyalists

Gorvoroth wants Seeping Murkglider Fluid. They drop from Murkgliders level 64 and up. Turn one in for a single point of faction each. Or just sell them to a vendor for 105p.

Raids

Alpha Feran

The Alpha Feran has 4 defenders, they have a huge agro range and can't be split. The defenders each hit for around 1k and can be mezed. The Alpha hits for over 3k, immune to mez, but can be stunned. If Alpha is killed while any defenders are still alive a defender will transform into a new Alpha and resume the fight. The best bet is to have a Paladin tank the Alpha, with stuns to help mitigate dps, while the raid mezzes all defenders and kills them one by one. Once they are dead burn down the Alpha.

Once defeated it has a roughly 24 hour respawn. Drops 2 spell runes and 1 of the following:

Bone Cracker

Bone Cracker spawns in his pen all alone. No adds, no phases, just a straight up "kill or be killed" fight. It hits for up to 2300 and has AE rampage. It casts Bone Strike, a 4k dd and 6 second stun, on the tank and Aftershock, a 1500 dd and feign death, on everybody on its hatelist. Come in with plenty of group/AE heals and hope it dies first. Also, keep it on the floor. If it gets pulled out or up the walls it will reset itself and heal to full.

Once defeated it has a roughly 24 hour respawn. Drops 2 spell runes and 1 of the following:

Murkglider School Leader

The school leader spawns in a cove along with her students, a number of little murkglider pups and healers. If you fight inside the cove the pups will add at various times making it more complicated. Additionally MSL casts Balance of the Nameless on herself and her class which cures poison, disease, and dispels all debuffs. This means that dots, slows, and mezzes are useless. MSL will also memblur periodically making agro difficult to maintain. The best bet is to pull her out of the cove away from her class, being careful to keep agro between blurs. Once safely out of range, melee/nuke it down. MSL hits for up to 1300 and casts an AE, Crackling Static, a 500 dot and 100 mana drain which blocks KEI line. 30 poison counters.

Once defeated she has a roughly 24 hour respawn. Drops 2 spell runes and 1 of the following:

Slavedriver Menlo

Menlo spawns with 10 refugees around him. Menlo is rooted in place and every 60 seconds 2 of the refugees will activate and assist him. The refugees hit around 500 and can be CC'd by snare, root, or mez. If a refugee is killed it respawns quickly and is eligible to be awaken again. Menlo himself hits for 1700 but has no spells. As long as you have a way to take the refugees out of the fight it is pretty trivial. Refugees don't despawn when Menlo dies, so kill them after.

Once defeated it has a roughly 24 hour respawn. Drops 2 spell runes and 1 of the following:

Lannal the Beast Tamer

This is a raid that has rarely been completed and very little information is available. It starts with two "a gargantuan bazu" and Lannal. Pull and kill the gargantuans, they hit for upwards of 2k. Then kill Lannal the Beast Tamer. Upon his death a zone emote goes off:

A voice bellows from deep inside the compound, 'Quickly, release the bazu! Release the beasts!'

At this point a bunch of dragorn "a beast handler" spawn and attempt to reach the castle. If they do they will release one of the chained bazu, which rampage for 1500 with insane health regen. If enough dragorn get through you get a failed event emote. I suppose if you kill all the dragorn before the reach you will eventually either get a reward or fight a boss for a reward.

Loot should include:
