Summary
- Invis up, go to Dreezil, say Everfrost
- Invis up, go to Dagda, say Stay, kill/kite Ice Giants (hit 18k, 900 damage shield) and Zephyrcrush (emote based silence AE)
- Go to Dabner, say Kelethin
- Invis up, go to Sionachie, say Dreadlands
- Trigger event, kill/kite skeletons for 8 minutes (melee on icebane, caster on charbane), avoid auras, save NPCs
- Burn Al`Kabor when goes active, hits 22k. Cure Annihilating Flames of Al'Kabor, 54 curse counters. Kite adds.
- Clean up adds
Phase 1
Trash mobs in the instance respawn fast so best to just invis whenever possible to avoid them. Invis up, head to Dreezil, tell him "Everfrost" to port over, invis again, and form up at Dagda. Pull nearby ice skeletons and have enchanters lock them down with mez to avoid inconvenient respawns. When ready tell Dagda "stay" and 4 ice giants and Zephyrcrush spawn. The giants hit for 18k, have a 900 point damage shield, cast a single target 35k dd, and occasionally blur ago. Zephyrcrush hits for 20k, casts a 250 range AE 20k dd, 15k dot, slow, and snare, . Zephyrcrush also gives an emote:The ice giant leader appears to be watching Rasper
9 seconds after the emote a 150 range AE goes off on the target doing 25k dd, 17k, and silence for 12 second. The target needs to get far away or risk wiping the raid. When the mobs spawn have kiters keep the giants busy while raid kills Zephyrcrush, then bring the giants in, and lastly the ice skeletons. When everything is dead take time to recover then tell Dabner "Kelethin""
Phase 2
Invis up, head to Sionachie, tell her "Dreadlands" then set the raid up near the pyramid. When ready tell hail Al`Kabor and the event begins to unfold.After a monologue 4 auras will begin to path around, these do Serious damage to anybody that gets in them (55k dd, silence, push, 10k dots, or snares). Four NPCs also appear around the pyramid: Dreezil, Thubr, Dagda, and Jevik. The auras will move towards these NPCs and kill them, if any die you lose and the event resets. You'll need people to tell the NPCs "Go east/north/west/south" and that NPC will go that direction. If the NPCs get injured you can tell Dabner "heal your companions", no information on how often or how many times you can do this.
While a squad plays ring around the rosie with the NPCs, skeletons begin to spawn, one every 30 seconds. It alternates between icebane skeletons, hit up to 17k, has a spell reflect, and casts an 18 sec stun, and charbane skeletons, also hit up to 17k, has a 1200 point damage shield, and casts a 200 range 30k dd. If any skeleton is pulled too far it will leash, clear agro, then pick a fresh target. They can also go after the NPCs so you need to keep them busy or they will kill one and fail the event.
During this time Al`Kabor will be rooted up on the pyramid, not attackable, but casting spells:
- Repulse - 125 range PBAE flux which strips levitation.
- Annihilating Flames of Al`Kabor - single target 10k dot, 54 curse counters. If not cured, it triggers a 64k dd.
- Immolation of Al`Kabor - a 5 wave targeted rain, 26k per wave.
- Revenge of Al`Kabor - a 2 wave targeted rain, 32k with flux per wave.
- Arctic Chill of Al'Kabor - single target 40k dd, 10k dot, skeleton illusion.
8 minutes after the initial hail Al`Kabor becomes active, still rooted, hitting for 22k in addition to casting the above spells. Every 30 seconds an add spawns, each hitting for 17k with an array of spells including stuns, mana drains, and viral spinstuns. Constant AE heals and kite the adds while burning Al`Kabor down as fast as possible. Once he is dead retreat to leash the adds, recover, and then clean them up to get to the chest which spawns at Al`Kabor's location.
Loot is 2 Obscure Remnants (random slots), 4 Spell Fragments, a chance at a Lucid Globe of Phantasmic Power, 2 Rusty Gate Keys (backflag), 5 Tremulous Keys, 2-3 of the following:
