An End to the Storms

Requirements: Kindly faction and all missions in Tier 4

In this event you will face the various forms of the great dragon Yar'lir. Be sure that everybody gets into the room quickly as once she reaches 95% health the doors lock. She is rooted in place, hits for up to 4800 and AE Rampages, but not for full damage. Regardless of form she has these four spells:

• Wind Shear - procs a spin stun on the tank
• Icicle Blizzard - a rain spell doing 3k dd up to three times
• Wing Buffet - AE 2500 dd and flux
• Yar`Lir`s Cone of Storms - A frontal AE 5000 dd and flux

During the event she will change form, each with a unique ability:

Yar`Lir the Matriarch

Spawns "a blizzard seeker" drake adds. These hit hard but can be mezzed.

Yar`Lir the Hurricane`s Eye

Spawns "an unstable storm" dervish adds. These cast Forcequake, massive 2500 dot and 150 per tick mana drain.

Yar`Lir the Mistress of Winds

Yar`Lir casts Tempest Wind, a 600 dd and push back, in addition to normal spells.

The event boils down to a DPS race, to get Yar`Lir down before the AEs and adds take out the raid.

The reward is 8 crystals each, 9 Yar`Lir's Fang for progression, an Eye of Yar`Lir for the Mask of the Hidden quest, and three of the following:

• Lightning Singed Mantle
• Mask of Raining Tears
• Shroud of the Surging Storm
• Thundercrash Girdle
• Stormeye Band
• Crystallized Glass Staff
• Oculus of Yar`Lir
• Crescent Palemoon
• Yarusha, the Storm's Fury
• Windfury Katana
