Scouting the City
Quest giver: Kelliad
Location: Stoneroot Falls
Requirements: None.
- Seek out Meldrek and ask him about an alternate entrance into Xill (Stoneroot Falls)
- Fight through the gates and explore the courtyard of the city
- Destroy any drachnids that you encounter (25)
- Search for any information on Shiliskin survivors
- Return to Kelliad with the tome at once
After getting the mission from Kelliad go to Meldrek and tell him "I am ready" to zone into the instance. Your goal here is at the top of the tower in the courtyard (where Drachnid Champion spawns in the static zone). Clear your way there and after 25 drachnids Warlord Drellak spawns. He starts out hitting like a truck, flurries for 2300, but every 20% he will emote and his dps will drop. So it is good to start with a riposte disc and burn hard to get him to more managable dps. Drellak drops one piece of loot and Tome of the Deep Waters. Take the tome back to Kelliad to complete your mission.
