Quest giver: Vorgannoth
Location: Ruins of Illsalin
Requirements: None.

• Follow Vorgannoth to the Temple of Illsalin (Ruins of Illsalin)
• Enter the Temple of Illsalin and speak with Vorgannoth
• Place dampening stones on the altars (8)
• Defeat the dark guardian of the altar

When you start this mission Vorgannoth, in the open world zone, will begin to walk to the instance. It is a good idea to clear as much trash along the way as you can as he will agro things along with triggering spawned ambushes of drachnids. Once you make your way to the temple click into the instance and hail Vorgannoth inside. He will give you 8 dampening stones. Your next task is direct... kill everything. You must kill every mob in the instance, nothing respawns, and many come with Bolster, a massive buff to mob spell and melee damage, resists, AC, and haste so be sure to dispel on pull. Once everything is dead hand a Dampening Stone to the 8 altars around the zone. On the final hand in a Dark Guardian spawns, hits for around 2k like the rest of the zone but rampages frequently as well. When killed it completes your mission and drops your loot.

Level 68+ Normal

• Illsalin Enforcer Symbol
• Illsalin Sage Boots
• Korlach Temple Fetish

Level 68+ Hard

• Caster/Priest - Preserved Shiliskin Brain

• Illsalin Templar Shield
• Gray Iron Chain Arms
• Light Amphibian Hide Gloves
