5 - Writing Linear Equations
This chapter is all about learning to write Linear Equations. Linear Equations represent the relationship between two
first degree variables, x and y. The equations come in multiple forms, starting with the Slope-Intercept which works
well with graphing. Once you've mastered how to write in Slope-Intercept form when given either a graph, a point and
slope, or two points this chapter will move on to best-fit lines when dealing with more real world data sets. Following
that is a discussion on other forms, such as the Point-Slope form and Standard form. The chapter wraps up with
examples of how Linear Equations can be used in real world applications to predict future data.
