Overview

The final zone of the fire half of the expansion, Ashengate is split into three wings. The east path populated by drakkin and griffons, the west path by animated statues, drakes, and ooze, and the north wing which leads to the great scale of Veeshan herself. The zone is designed for those already 75 and hosts 15 loot dropping rares as well as 3 zonewide rare drops:

Advisor Neezin D`rahl

PH is "a Scarlet Legion advisor" at the gate. Hits for 2200 at least, casts Shadowknight spells. No other data. Always drops Fourth Fragment of the Kings' Disk for The Disk of Kings quest and the Key of Flame to unlock the gate leading to the back of east wing.

Quests and Missions

Key of Flame

Quest giver: none
Requirements: none
Reward: Access to back of east

Not technically a quest. In the deep end of the East Wing camp Advisor Neezin D`rahl. She drops Key of Flame. With this you can use levitation to float from the ledge in the North Wing over the lava to the northeast and open the gate. This allows Much faster access to the area and can make questing that region significantly easier. It does not go on keyring, so you get to carry it around.

Y`ssuria's Arc

Reward: Infiltrators and Traitors of Ashengate faction and Cloak of the Elder Drake

Y`ssuria is in Crescent Reach (375, -905), but as I don't have a page for Crescent Reach on the guide I'm putting her tasks here. The arc consists of 3 tasks:

The Sanctity of the Scale

The first task is simple, just go to Ashengate up the north path and stand at the tip of the precipice to trigger a location update. Then return to Y`ssuria for +150 to Infiltrators and Traitors of Ashengate.

The Agony of Uncertainty

For the second task you'll need to purchase a "Blank Canvas" and "Set of Sketching Tools" from Merchant Jhenner (about 640p together) in Crescent Reach. Go back to the same location and click the Tools to "sketch" the scale. This takes 60 seconds. If you are right at the tip of the ledge you can do this without agro'ing the guards. When it finishes you get a "Sketch of the Reliquary", just take it back to Y`ssuria for +150 to Infiltrators and Traitors of Ashengate.

The Ecstasy of Relief

The third task is the same as the second, except you need the "High Quality Sketching Tools" which costs about 500p more and takes 3 minutes to cast. Return the finished sketch for +150 to Infiltrators and Traitors of Ashengate and the Cloak of the Elder Drake.
