Thundercrest Isles

Overview

Thundercrest is a large zone with a diverse population spread over a few islands. There are multiple zone outs back to The Broodlands (maybe more than shown on the map). The zone is home to 20 unique loot dropping rares, however it seems that the zone can have different configurations so not all rares spawn all the time. It is unclear if this is intentional and if it is if there is any way to force it to change. There are 3 mini-raid events in the zone as well, the Raging Thunderhead on the center island, the Lore Warden to the northwest, and the Four Corners event to the northeast. All mobs in the zone can randomly drop one of the following:

Events and Raids

Raging Thunderhead

To start this event you need to pull the three Storm Chasers and kill them all within a small window (2-3 minutes). They hit around 1k each, no spells, and not a lot of health. If you take too long they respawn fairly quickly and you'll need to start over. If all three are killed at the same time 3 Thunderheads spawn roughly where the Storm Chasers start. They also hit around 1k but, reportedly, cast Gelid Breath, a targeted AE which deals 1250 damage and debuffs accuracy and spell casting level. These will attempt to path to a spot due west of the stairs leading west. When killed each Thunderhead splits into a number of unmezzable Stormfronts, which hit for 700 and AE rampage. When any reach their destination or when all three Thundeheads are killed the Raging Thunderhead will finally spawn.

If you killed all the Thunderheads the Raging will only hit in the 2500 range and have no spells. If you failed to prevent all Thunderheads and Stormfronts from reaching it it will power up into hitting for 3500, flurry, and two spells:

Lore Warden

The Lore Warden is flanked by 4 Messenger Drakes, non-agro at the start. Hail him and when he tells you to go away /say No. This triggers the start of the event as 2 Guardian of the Past and a Sentinel of Antiquity spawn. The Guardians hit for around 1100 max while the Sentinel can hit 1500, all are immune to mez/snare/root and tether to the room. Once all 3 are dead the Lore Warden and Messenger Drakes activate and attack. The Drakes only hit around 600 while the Lore Warden hits around 1600 and casts Blast of Ice, a PBAE 4k dd and stun. These are also leashed to the room.

Four Corners

In the northeastern area of the zone is a room with a mob in each corner, Statues in the Northeast and Southwest, Drakes in the opposite. Not many details on the mechanics of the encounter other than the mobs are agro linked so you can't split them.

Ironforged Protector
Hits for nearly 1k. Casts Choking Gascloud, single target 1k dd, 750 dot, and drunk effect.
Clayforged Protector
Hits for upper 700s and casts Golem Slow, single target melee slow, snare, and max hp debuff (20%).
Shadowspitter
Hits for mid 800s and casts Acid Breath, single target 1k dd, 500 dot, 1k end, and 500 end per tick drain.
Muligiwa the Toxic
Hits for upper 600s and casts Slime Breath, single target melee slow and 200 per tick mana drain.

Unknown if there are any other mechanics in play beyond simply killing all four or respawn time on victory. Once all are dead a chest spawns containing two of the following:
