Undershore

Overview

The Undershore is home to the Free Traders, a non-hostile faction of Shiliskin, Jarzarrad the Prophet, and the Malgrinnors, a hostile faction of Shiliskin led by the zone's raid boss, General Veronhar. From here you can reach Stoneroot Falls to the west or the Ruins of Illsalin to the south. The 15 rares in this zone are targeted for players from 55 up to 65. There are 3 zonewide rare drops here:

Rare Mobs

a Deep Orc fire tender
PH seems to be any orc in the camp. Hits in the mid-300s, no data on spells. Reportedly non-kos traders will assist.

a Forlorn Wanderer
Unknown PH, but it roams the area. Hits in the mid-400s and casts some type of heal at 30%.

PH appears to be shaman and multiple can be up at once. No fight data other than it is a caster.

PH is a roaming basilisk in the water. Hits in 300s, but can backstab.

The Nightcrier
PH is a roaming ragepaw. Hits in the 500s, no data on spells.

Events and Raids

General Veronhar

When you start this event you face off with Veronhar and his two Commanders. The commanders hit for around 1000 and have low health (50-60k). Throughout the fight the General will order them to attack someone else and they will switch agro at random which can make off tanking a challenge. The General himself hits for over 2k (some reports up to 3k), no flurry or rampage, and casts two spells:

During the event he will call out for his archers to fire. Certain people in the raid will get an emote (need exact text) and they need to duck or take a 7500 dd. Basically burn down the two commanders, dodge the arrows, heal through the AE flux, and beat him down.

Unknown respawn on win or loss. Has a chance to drop a Chronal Stone along with two of the following:

Quests and Missions

Vestiges of the Empire

Quest giver: Brother Learned Hand
Requirements: none
Reward: Korgoron, the Shattered Blade of Illsalin

To start this quest hail Brother Learned Hand. This will give you a 1-step task to "Investigate the Tomb of Emperor Illsalin". As you approach the tomb (-1125, 200) the task completes and you get the real task, "Vestiges of the Empire":

Gemstone of Emperor Bloodfin is a random drop (roughly 1 in 30) from Shadowmane in Stoneroot Falls
Gemstone of the Faceless Emperor is rewarded for completing Spies Like Them
Gemstone of Emperor Sandvarrow is a random drop (roughly 1 in 30) from yellow con Drachnid in The Hive
Gemstone of Emperor Draygun is rewarded for completing Deserting The Ranks

Collect all 5 stones (can be pre-looted) and give them to the Tomb. On the last turn in you get a zone emote and your evolving range item reward:

  3. Korgoron, the Shattered Blade of Illsalin



Dark Prophecy

Quest giver: Brother Nine Stones
Requirements: none
Reward: none

Hailing Nine Stones gives a task to locate Jarzarrad the Prophet. When you get close to Jarzarrad it completes and you get around 5% of an AA. Thats it.



Arislo's Tasks

Quest giver: Free Trader Arislo
Requirements: none
Reward: A bit of xp and faction with Free Traders of Malgrinnor

Free Trader Arislo offers 4 tasks which can be repeated.

Arislo's Armor
Get the task by saying "Make armor". Give him 2 Undamaged Splorgath Skin and 2 Witheran Carapace. Can be pre-looted.
Arislo's Weapons
Get the task by saying "Make weapons". Give him 2 Cursed Shiliskin Thigh Bone and 2 Witheran Tooth. Can be pre-looted.
Arislo's Food
Get the task by saying "I can find them". Give him a Glom and a Serinal from shiliskins and 2 Bottle of Grandlor from zombies in Ruins of Illsalin. Can be pre-looted.
Handy Work
Get the task by saying "I can bring the hands". Give him 4 Cursed Shiliskin Hand from shiliskinn in Ruins of Illsalin. Can be pre-looted.



Hourglass' Missions

Quest giver: Hourglass
Requirements: none
Reward: A bit of xp, 80pp, and a heal potion

Hourglass offers 2 missions (solo? group? timed?) which can be repeated. Tell him 'I have the strength' to get the mission window.

Destroy the Bloodwings
Say "climb" to be zoned into Ruins of Illsalin. Here you need to kill 5 "a Bloodwing perch guard" and "a winged watcher". The watchers spawn on the east side of the zone. Once you have your kills return and hail Hourglass for your paltry reward.
Dredged Drachnids
When you get this mission you are given a 10 slot container, Hourglass' Voodoo Skull. Say "climb" to be zoned into Ruins of Illsalin. You'll need to kill 10 "a dredged drachnid zombie" in the central area of the zone, after each kill a Drachnid Spirit. Once you have 10 combine them in the Skull to create a Skull of Spirits. Return this to Hourglass for your paltry reward.



Slave Trader Tasks

Quest giver: Slave Trader Arad, Bologore, and Zillvinshin
Requirements: none
Reward: A bit of xp, 80-100pp, a heal potion, and faction with Free Traders of Malgrinnor

Slave Trader Arad offers 3 missions which can be repeated. Tell him "I am looking for work" to get the mission window.

A Traitor's Fate
When you get this mission you are given a 10 slot container, Arad's Spear. Head to the Hive and to the "Warrned of the Conscrpts" on the western side. You'll need to kill 10 "a Deep Orc conscript" each of which drops a Deep Orc Head. Once you have 10 combine them in the spear to make a Totem of Impaled Orc Heads. The heads can not be pre-looted. Return this to Arad for your paltry reward.
Veruzan
This task has a 2 hour time limit. Head to around (-515, 1355) to spawn Veruzan. He doesn't see invis, max hit about 900, and casts an AE stun. If left unagro for 2 minutes it will despawn. When killed it drops 4 Veruzan's Paw, allowing 4 people to get credit at once. Loot the paw and give it to Arad to complete the mission and get your paltry reward.
The Coral Bogs
For this task make your way to the southeastern portion of Stoneroot Falls to find "Coral Fins", "Coral Fans", and "Coral Sails". You need to /open these and loot 4 Brittle Nargilor Cores and 4 Glowing Nargilor Cores. Witherans in the area will agro, so you either need to clear, train away, or be able to drop agro. Return the cores to Arad for your paltry reward.
Slave Trader Bologore offers a mission which can be repeated, but gives no faction. Tell him "I have a group" to get the mission window.
Harvest of the Deep
For this task chat with Zillvinshin to get ported to Illsalin. Here you need to loot 5 Living Nargil Coral from the "colony of nargilor". You also need and 5 Splintered Nargilore Shard, where are these from? The Hard version requires 8 of each. Return them to Bologre for your paltry reward.
Slave Trader Zillvinshin offers 2 tasks which can be repeated. Tell him "I have a group" to get the mission window.
Cleaning the Canals
Straight forward kill task. Kill 5 "a cave fisher", 10 "a razorscale or snapjaw moccasin", and 5 witherans in Undershore.
The Walls of Illsalin
When you get this mission you are given a 10 slot container, Zillvinshin's Trophy Belt. You'll need to kill "an illsalin xyz" shiliskin mobs in Undershore, collecting 10 Withered Shiliskin Tentacles. Once you have 10 combine them in the belt to make a Tentacle-Laden Trophy Belt. The tentacles can not be pre-looted. Return this to Zillvinshin for your paltry reward. This task might not be repeatable.



Shilgrave Vengeance

Quest giver: Zahn
Requirements: none
Reward: A bit of xp, 80-100pp, a heal potion, and faction with Free Traders of Malgrinnor

Telling Zahn "I will help" will give you the task. You simply need to kill a Malgrin sergeants and soldiers until you can loot 12 Malgrin Legion Shields. Then hand them in to Zahn to complete your task.
